This is my fist visit to your site. I love it. Here is the funny thing. I am a fundamentalist Christians, but I think a lot like you when it comes to social action. Keep up the good work.
I am very apolitical, but, today, I was thinking a lot about a third party option based totally on compassion. The foundations of my action (for me) would be religious, but, for non-religious folk, I think the beauty of the human being is still valued.
