problem with my template

I week or two ago I took the completed dropcash box off my sidebar and seem to have messed up my template in the process. For some reason the top post is taking up the entire main column until the end of the sidebar. That’s why all that space is blank below the main post. I’m trying to fix it now. Anyone have any suggestions?

Update: I can’t figure it out. I’m going to bed.

  1. I had the same thing happen to my blog a couple weeks ago. It happened when I published my blog (index page) and the archives stayed ok. I tried using backup templates and nothing would fix it.
I put a ticket into blogger because someone told me others were having the smae problem. Blogger was supposedly aware of it but never responded to my ticket. It seems to be a probelm in the publishing process, or at least it was for me.

I finally used a default blogger template and then designed a new one. I still won’t republish my archives.

    Good luck.

  2. I’ve moved my operations to wordpress at http://tedernst.com

I still need to change the template over there to link to these archives (I’m having trouble getting them imported) and then change this front page to just one final post pointing over there, no sidebar here or anything.

    One of these days…
