CC for WP problem update

Sure enough, my post showed up as a trackback and Nathan replied (on his blog which then showed up as trackback to my post):

WordPress provides a “footer” hook which wpLicense uses, but in order for it to be called, your template must include a call to wp_footer();, probably in footer.php. The default theme, Kubrick, does that, so you might look at it’s footer.php for a sample.

He also said there was no link to register in order to leave a comment here. This is a reminder to myself to look into that. Might also be a theme issue.

Update: I found the tag in question in the Kubrick footer and copied it over and it worked! Just like that. Still have to figure out the comment issue.

Update: Took the comments template from the default theme and just copied over the comments template from Minima Plus. Solved the issue of not being able to register. Now the formatting is all funky. Guess I’m going to have to delve into the actual code.

Update: Seems it just had to do with the width of the comment-entry box so I changed it from 100% to 40 columns and now everything looks okay. Woo hoo!
