Creative Commons for Wordpress problem
August 22, 2005 at 1:10 am | In the Commons, admin |Just downloaded and installed the wordpress plugin wplicense that’s supposed to display a link to my Creative Commons license in the footer. Doesn’t seem to work. Not sure how to get tech support so hoping my link to them will attract their attention and response. The plug-in works fine, activated on the plugin menu, then shows up an additional option on the options menu. I picked my license. All looks well there. Just don’t see the output I’d like.

[…] Sure enough, my post showed up as a trackback and Nathan replied (on his blog which then showed up as trackback to my post): WordPress provides a “footer” hook which wpLicense uses, but in order for it to be called, your template must include a call to wp_footer();, probably in footer.php. The default theme, Kubrick, does that, so you might look at it’s footer.php for a sample. […]
