What is Sacred?  Can you describe what is Sacred for you?

  1. The time I have to breathe and think usually when I am writing…When I getto go outside and see the growth ofmy garden…kisses from my son…when my daughter tells me she loves me…when someone is brave enough to share their ideas.

  2. Thanks, Heather!

Sacred to me is people, when we stop and take time to just connect. It’s all too rare.

  3. And even more than that connection between people, there’s something that happens in the silence (internal silence), tht can’t really be described. There is no “I” there. It’s very hard to talk about, because that “I”, that witness isn’t there.

  4. Sacred:

Love, truth, honesty, beauty, laughter, kindness, compassion. Peace, silence, solitude, not-needing, happiness, expression, creativity. Sharing, giving. Hoping. The work of hands that flows from the heart. Love. Creation. Honoring the god in others. Life. Breath. Sunrise and sunset. The glow of the moon. Music.

And many other things, when done with a conscious mind and open heart.

  5. Yes, I couldn’t agree with you more, Ted. And I know what you mean and you know what I mean, and I know that you know that I mean it. :) Could you follow…? ;-)

The Sacred is in US, the will that transforms and humanizes the World. All the Beauty within US and around US is Sacred.
