SILO ON DISARMAMENT

Violence has so utterly lost the war that it will no longer be possible to violently impose unjust peace. Neither will it be possible for the truth to be violently twisted by manipulating the word “peace.” The wear of violence is about to cause the retreat of the invading troops, the return of the occupied territories and the weapons of mass destruction to be dismantled.

Silo is the founder of the Humanist Movement, and the link is to the brand-new website http://silo.ws, which shows 30 second TV spots calling for worldwide disarmament.  Check it out!

  1. Here’s an interesting view on disarment that resonates with your comment.

Last week I learned that that high lamas in Tibet were able to “see” China’s invasion prior to it happening because on the etheral plane they saw that the Tibet protectors had lost the “war” taking place in the etheral plane.

It made me wonder if the “war” taking place in the etheral plane has to do with each of our inner work. The more each of us can personally disarm by changing our individual throughts, actions and behaviors the more we create “peace” on the etheral.

And, if the etheral determines our physcial world constructs — then are we just a dream. Like when we sleep at night, our dreams reflecting what goes on in our waking world.

As above so below (or vertical and horizontal).

May the compassion of love win a peaceful world.
